Recipe "Vintage Chocolate Chip Cookies"

INGREDIENTS :
• 150 g salted butter, softened
• 80 g brown sugar
• 80 g white sugar
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 1 large egg
• 225 g white flour
• ½ teaspoon baking soda
• ¼ teaspoon salt
• 200 g dark chocolate chips or pieces
INSTRUCTIONS :
1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (170°C in fan mode) or th. 5 and line two baking trays with baking paper.
2. Put 150g softened salted butter, 80g brown sugar and 80g white sugar in a bowl and beat until creamy.
3. Stir in 2 teaspoons vanilla extract and 1 large egg.
4. Sift 225g flour, ½ tsp bicarbonate of soda and ¼ tsp salt into the bowl, then mix with a wooden spoon.
5. Add 200g of dark chocolate chips or pieces and mix well.
6. Use a teaspoon to scoop out small portions of the mixture, spacing them well on the baking sheets. This should yield about 30 cookies.
7. Bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly browned on the edges and still slightly soft in the center.
8. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then move to a wire rack to cool completely.
